The Basic Information that you need to know about True Blue

Meetings

  • The officers of True Blue will meet every other week to discuss True Blue events and promotions.
  • Any True Blue member is welcome to attend these meetings however only the officers' votes count towards a decision 
  • To attend a meeting a True Blue member must contact the President for the meeting information

Levels of Membership

You choose the level at which you want to participate in UB athletics based on the amount of benefits that you want to receive.  

Level 1: True Blue Casual

Requirements:

  • Full time student at the University at Buffalo
  • Provide contact information (name, email, etc.)

Benefits:

  • Receive a free giveaway for signing up (while supplies last)
  • Receive True Blue wristband
  • Receive emails and updates about upcoming True Blue and UB events
  • Opportunity for text messaging updates

Level 2: True Blue Dedicated

Requirements:

  • Full time student at the University at Buffalo 
  • Provide contact information (name, email, etc.)
  • $10 fee

Benefits:

  • True Blue t-shirt
  • True Blue wristband
  • Included in the Loyalty Point System tracking (see below)
  • Emails and texts with updates about upcoming True Blue and UB events
  • 25% off the basic student price for all True Blue road trips

Loyalty Point System

The Loyalty Point System is a way to receive benefits for attending and cheering on your UB teams. The more games you attend, the more prizes you will win with the ultimate goal being to become a True Blue Elite member.


In order to receive Loyalty Points you need to attend True Blue Games. True Blue Games are games that are chosen by UB Athletes from each sport and are important games for that team throughout their season. Our goal is to get as many True Blue members to these games to help support your UB teams to victory. For every True Blue Game that you attend, you will receive 1 point. Some very important games throughout the semester can be worth more points if you attend. To receive your point at a True Blue Game you must sign in at the designated True Blue area anytime before halftime. For the point to count you must sign out anytime after halftime. If you are eligible for a gift you will receive it when you sign out.
